Segway Navimow H220

At $2,199, the H220 is Navimow's half-acre H2: solid-state LiDAR, network RTK, and vision with no wire and no antenna, plus a 10 Ah pack rated for about 220 minutes per charge, an 8.66-inch cut, and IP66. The catch is that it is not AWD. It is rated for 45% inside the work area but only 25% at the boundary, and its 2-inch minimum cut needs the included low-cutting kit to go shorter.

What it is

The Segway Navimow H220 is the larger of the two H2 series robot mowers sold on Navimow’s official US store at navimow.com. This listing covers the H220 variant only: Shopify product 8367261089929, variant 45014291415177 (“Navimow H220 | 0.5 acre”), SKU AA.12.05.04.0003. It is not the H210 (0.25 acre, $1,799) on the same page, and it is not one of the older H-VF models (H800-VF / H1500-VF / H3000-VF), which navimow.com listed as sold out on this date.

Navimow calls the navigation EFLS™ (LiDAR + NRTK + Vision). A built-in solid-state LiDAR, Network RTK, and a camera work together, so there is no boundary wire and no RTK antenna to install. Network RTK is included at no extra cost, and Navimow says the cellular data it needs is free.

From the official US product page and the Navimow H2 US user manual linked from it (Specifications table, checked 9 Oct 2026):

  • Recommended mowing area: about 0.5 acre. The FAQ says it may handle up to 0.6 acre depending on layout, and maps can store up to 1.2× the recommended area.
  • Max incline inside the working area: 45% (24°). Max incline at the boundary: 25%.
  • Cutting width: 8.66 in. Cutting height: 2–4 in, with a low-cutting kit (0.8–2.8 in) in the box.
  • Typical mowing time per full charge: about 220 min. Charging time: about 120 min (10–100%). Area per hour: 2,637 ft².
  • Battery: 10 Ah / 216 Wh, 21.6 V lithium-ion
  • Net weight: 35.82 lbs (battery included). Size: 24.6 × 17.5 × 11.6 in.
  • Noise: 60 dB(A) sound power (LWA) and 52 dB(A) sound pressure (LpA)
  • IP rating: IP66 for the mower and charging station, IP67 for the power supply
  • Warranty in the US manual: 3 years on the H210/H220 and 2 years on battery packs and power adapters

coverageAcres is the 0.5-acre recommended mowing area. The page’s “up to 0.93 acre per day” is a separate 24-hour throughput figure for the H220, measured on a flat lawn with no obstacles, and is not a lawn-size rating.

Who it’s for

The H220 fits a lawn of up to about half an acre that tends to trip up single-sensor mowers. Navimow pitches it for areas under trees, narrow passages down to 2.3 ft, open terrain, and day or night, with LiDAR, network RTK, and the camera covering each other’s weak spots. The manual’s setup is “Drop and Mow”: place the charging station, then the mower maps the yard itself in the app. You don’t bury wire or mount an antenna.

Check two things before buying. Network RTK depends on cellular coverage, and the page has a coverage checker. The included Connect+ 4G service is free for 1 year, then $32.90 a year. Also, the 45% rating applies inside the work area. The manual caps the boundary at 25% and warns not to mow anything steeper than either figure.

Skip it if the lawn is well over half an acre, if the yard needs AWD and an 80%-class slope rating, or if a 0.25-acre yard would be served by the cheaper H210.

Standout details

  • Navigation: EFLS™ fuses a built-in solid-state LiDAR with Network RTK and vision. Navimow quotes about 200,000 points per second, a 230 ft detection range, and a 50 ms scan interval, and says the LiDAR has no exposed rotating parts. The manual lists the LiDAR sensor, camera sensor, and RTK module separately on the mower.
  • Obstacles: VisionFence™ recognizes 200+ object types, detects objects down to 0.4 in, judges clearance under overhangs, and slows down near animals.
  • Cut: 8.66 in width with a 100 W mowing motor, 6 blades, and an anti-clogging cutting disc. Height is 2–4 in, or 0.8–2.8 in with the included low-cutting kit. EdgeSense™ ride-on edge mode cuts as close as 2 in from walls and fences. You can set up to 30 zones, each with its own height and schedule.
  • Slopes: Terrain Adapt plans routes on slopes, and an Electronic Stability Control system shifts the center of gravity in turns. The rating is 45% (24°) inside the work area and 25% at the boundary in the manual. The rear wheels are off-road wheels and the front uses caster wheels. The page doesn’t call it AWD, so driveType is omitted.
  • Runtime: 10 Ah / 216 Wh pack, about 220 min per charge, about 120 min to recharge. Navimow claims 2× faster charging and cutting than the previous generation.
  • Security and weather: geo-fence alert, lift alarm, GPS tracking, and Apple Find My, with proximity unlock from your phone. It also has a rain sensor and forecast-based protection, plus IP66 so the mower can be rinsed.
  • In the box: H2 mower, charging station with installation kit, low-cutting kit, a 33 ft extension cable for the power supply, the power supply adapter, 7 pegs, and 12 spare blades with bolts.
  • Purchase terms on this date: $2,199.00 in the cart with no compare-at, accepted by a guest cart/add.js and shown in the schema.org Offer as InStock. Taxes are excluded, and the page says free shipping over $99.

Page and source notes:

  • Specs source: the PDP’s interactive spec/compare table is injected by script and didn’t render for the research host. The full spec values above come from the official Navimow H2 US user manual PDF linked on the US product page (Navimow_H2_User_Manual-US-260202), so they are manufacturer-published.
  • Image: the official US PDP studio still H2-1.1-PDP-H220-NA_…png, which is also the variant’s featured image. It shows the whole machine in a three-quarter view on a transparent background with the H220 mark next to the STOP button. The near-identical H2-1.1-PDP-H210-NA still shows the H210 mark and was not used.

Honest verdict

At $2,199, the H220 is the half-acre option for a tricky yard. It combines LiDAR, network RTK, and vision, with no wire and no antenna pole, and it is rated to mow under trees and through 2.3 ft gaps. A 10 Ah pack gives about 220 minutes per charge. It has an 8.66-inch six-blade cut, IP66, a 60 dB(A) rating, Apple Find My, and a 3-year mower warranty in the US manual. If the lawn is complex but only moderately sloped, that is a lot of navigation hardware for the money.

The limits are slope and drive. This is not an AWD machine. It is rated for 45% inside the work area and only 25% at the boundary. Network RTK and the 4G features rely on cellular service, and Connect+ costs $32.90 a year after the first year. The standard deck starts at 2 in, and you fit the included low-cutting kit to go down to 0.8 in. Buy the H220 if the lawn is around half an acre and gives satellite-only or camera-only mowers trouble. Choose the H210 for a quarter acre, or an AWD machine if the slopes are steep.
