What it is
The Dreame A3 AWD 2000 is the 0.50-acre SKU in Dreame Yard Care’s US non-Pro A3 AWD series. It is a perimeter-wire-free robot mower that maps with OmniSense™ 3.0 — official copy pairs 360° 3D LiDAR with binocular AI vision — and does not use RTK or a boundary wire. Drive is all-wheel drive with hub motors (universal wheels × 2 + off-road wheels × 2).
Official US numbers published for this series / SKU: working area capacity 2,000 m² / 0.50 acre on the A3 AWD 2000 variant, max slope 80% (38.7°), mowing width 7.9 in, cutting height 1.2–3.9 in (3–10 cm) in 0.2 in increments, EdgeMaster™ disc-to-edge < 1.91 in (marketing also cites < 1.9 in), weight 16.1 kg (35.49 lb), noise < 62.8 dB, waterproofing IPX6, and a 5 Ah battery. Obstacle crossing is marketed at 2.2 in (body copy also cites 2.17 in). Dimensions in the spec table: 635 × 434 × 295 mm.
It is not the Pro series (15.8 in dual-disc; Pro 2500 / 3500 / 5000) and not the A3 AWD 1000 (0.25 acre on the same PDP).
Who it’s for
Homeowners with up to about 0.50 acre who want a wire-free install that does not depend on an RTK antenna, and who need AWD for slopes inside the published 80% work-area figure. App mapping is remote-control + AI auto-mapping; dual-map and up to 150 zones are listed. Skip it if the lawn needs more than 0.50 acre of rated capacity (look at the A3 AWD Pro line), if you specifically want RTK/Network RTK, or if a quarter-acre A3 AWD 1000 is enough.
Standout details
- Coverage: Variant title and spec table — A3 AWD 2000 = 2,000 m² / 0.50 acre. Sibling on the same PDP: A3 AWD 1000 = 1,000 m² / 0.25 acre. Marketing also lists power modes as Standard 0.25, Efficient 0.50, and Rush 0.54 acre/24 hrs (throughput rates, not a higher capacity rating).
- Navigation: OmniSense™ 3.0; obstacle avoidance listed as 360° 3D LiDAR + binocular AI vision. Marketing states “No RTK. No Wires.” LiDAR detection range footnote: up to 164 in (50 m).
- Setup: Wire-free. Boundary setup type: remote control + AI auto-mapping. Dual-map supported (separate charging station recommended per map when yards are disconnected).
- Drive and slope: AWD + hub motor; max slope performance 80% (38.7°); marketed obstacle crossing 2.2 in; narrow-passage agility marketed at ≤ 23.6 in.
- Cutting: 7.9 in mowing width; height 1.2–3.9 in (3–10 cm); EdgeMaster™ edge distance < 1.9 in. Modes listed: All-Area / Zone / Edge / Spot / Manual.
- Connectivity / security: PDP marketing lists 1 year of complimentary 4G data; lift-up alert, PIN lockout, and AirTag compatibility are marketed (AirTag sold separately).
- Other verified specs: IPX6 rinseable; noise < 62.8 dB; weight 16.1 kg (35.49 lb); 3-year warranty stated on the US store page.

Honest verdict
Buy the A3 AWD 2000 cart if the yard is around or under 0.50 acre, needs AWD toward the 80% slope claim, and you want LiDAR + vision without RTK hardware on a 7.9 in deck. The official sale on 16 Oct 2026 is $1,699.99 (it was $1,899.99 on 17 Sep 2026) ($2,199.99 compare-at on the same variant — not a labeled MSRP). Skip it for larger rated lawns (A3 AWD Pro line), for a wider dual-disc cut, or for smaller lots better matched to the A3 AWD 1000.
