MOVA LiDAX Ultra 3000 AWD

A $2,399 wire-free AWD LiDAR mower rated for 0.75 acre and 80% slopes; the catch is a 0.2–0.25-acre-per-charge pace on a 52 lb machine whose published hardware matches the 0.5-acre Ultra 2000 AWD.

What it is

The MOVA LiDAX Ultra 3000 AWD is the 0.75-acre SKU in MOVA’s US LiDAX Ultra AWD line. This listing is locked to the main US PDP variant 47355510325484, SKU 010901AA000205, titled MOVA Lidax Ultra 3000 AWD Robotic Lawn Mower | 0.75 acre (not the 【Live Only】 twin). It is not the 0.5-acre Ultra 2000 AWD, not the rear-wheel-drive LiDAX Ultra 1000 / Ultra 2000, and not a Dreame A3 AWD model.

Navigation is UltraView™ 3.0: official US copy pairs 360° 3D LiDAR with AI Dual Vision for mapping with no boundary wire and no RTK base station (remote control + AI-assisted auto mapping, 2D and 3D map views). Drive is AWD with four hub motors on omni wheels. The official US spec table (Ultra 3000 AWD column) lists: max mapping area 0.75 acre single map (0.75 acre × 2 with dual maps), dimensions 740 × 532 × 321 mm, weight 52.0 lbs, cutting width 15.8” (2 discs, 6 blades each, floating), cutting height 1.2”–3.9”, electronic, UltraTrim™ 2.0 edge gap < 1.2”, max slope 80% (38.6°), vertical crossing 2.4”, battery 36 V / 7.5 Ah / 243 Wh, charging 5 A, 65 min (15%–95%), runtime 150–170 min per charge, 0.2–0.25 acre mowed per charge, waterproofing IPX6, 4G service 3 years free, and warranty 3 years.

Who it’s for

Consider this cart if the mowable area is between roughly half an acre and 0.75 acre, parts of it are steep or uneven, and you want a wire-free LiDAR install with no RTK antenna to site. The published 80% slope figure, 2.4” vertical crossing and four-wheel hub-motor drive are what set the AWD line apart from the rear-wheel-drive Ultra 1000 / Ultra 2000 (45%). Dual maps (up to 0.75 acre each, with one or two charging stations) and up to 150 zones suit split front/back yards or two separate lawns.

Skip it if the lawn is 0.5 acre or smaller: on MOVA’s own comparison table the Ultra 2000 AWD has the same published weight, deck, drive, battery, runtime and slope figures, with a 0.5-acre mapping area. Also skip it if you need more than 0.75 acre on a single map, or if a gentle yard doesn’t need AWD, where a RWD Ultra covers it for less.

Standout details

  • Coverage: Spec table: Ultra 3000 AWD = 0.75 acre single map, 0.75 acre × 2 dual map. Per charge: 0.2–0.25 acre, so a full 0.75-acre pass relies on auto-recharge and resume, which the PDP describes.
  • Navigation / mapping: UltraView™ 3.0 (360° 3D LiDAR + AI Dual Vision); no boundary wire or RTK base station. PDP marketing cites 230 ft LiDAR range, centimeter-level precision, and dual 1080p RGB cameras at 120°. Stable positioning is claimed in dim light and weak-GPS spots (foliage, narrow passages). Night mowing Y.
  • Obstacles: 360° 3D LiDAR + AI Dual Vision + bumper. Marketing: 300+ obstacle types detected, objects as small as 0.8” × 0.8”. Low-speed animal-safety mode and custom animal activity zones are listed.
  • Drive and slope: AWD with 4 hub motors (marketing: 116 W each), omni wheels for near-zero-radius turns, independent suspension. Max slope 80% (38.6°); vertical crossing 2.4”.
  • Cutting: 15.8” width from 2 floating discs with 6 blades each (marketing: dual 180 W cutting motors). App-set height 1.2”–3.9”. UltraTrim™ 2.0 extends the discs outward to keep the edge gap under 1.2”. U-shaped path planning; modes All-Area / Zone / Edge / Spot / Manual; direction modes Custom / Chequerboard / Crisscross; pattern customization Y.
  • Battery / runtime: 36 V, 7.5 Ah, 243 Wh; 150–170 min per charge; 5 A charging, 65 min from 15% to 95%.
  • Zones / schedules: Dual maps; up to 150 zones with no-go zones and navigation channels; dual seasonal schedules (Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter).
  • Security: Location tracking via built-in GPS with 3-year free 4G, off-map alarm with PIN, lift/stray notifications, and AirTag compatibility (AirTag sold separately). TrueGuard™: auto patrol, live audio, human detection, live video.
  • Build: 52.0 lbs; IPX6; 740 × 532 × 321 mm. Warranty 3 years per the spec table.
  • In the box (US package list): mower, charging station, stakes ×8 / hex key ×1, power supply, lint-free cloth, user manual, quick start guide, spare blades / screws ×9 / ×9, screwdriver, cleaning brush.

Honest verdict

If the yard runs up to 0.75 acre, includes slopes a RWD mower can’t hold, and you want LiDAR + vision with no wire or RTK hardware, the Ultra 3000 AWD at $2,399 ($2,999 compare-at, 16 Oct 2026) fits that yard. Plan for several dock-and-resume cycles per full pass at 0.2–0.25 acre per charge, expect a 52 lb machine to move, and confirm the lawn really exceeds 0.5 acre before paying the extra over the Ultra 2000 AWD. MOVA publishes identical hardware specs for the two, and the mapping area is the only published difference.
