What it is
The Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 5000 Standard is the 1.25-acre (5,000 m²) member of the 2026 LUBA 3 family. This listing is locked to US variant 50985073443114, SKU MTLA25LU35KNA, with the 1.0–2.7-inch Standard cutting range. It is not the sold-out 5000 High, the 0.37-acre 1500, or the 0.75-acre 3000.
Navigation combines 360° LiDAR, dual-camera AI vision, and NetRTK through Mammotion iNavi. Mammotion markets this as its Tri-Fusion system. It maps virtual boundaries without a buried perimeter wire, and the US page says NetRTK can operate without installing the included physical RTK reference station.
Who it’s for
Buy this model if your mowable area approaches an acre, is split across several zones, or includes steep and uneven ground. The 5000 supports up to 50 mowing zones, while Mammotion rates its AWD chassis for slopes up to 80% (38.6°) inside the work area.
Do not pay for the 5000 merely because it is the largest LUBA 3 here (it was sold out in the US store on 14 Oct 2026). The cheaper 3000 is rated for 0.75 acre, and the 1500 covers 0.37 acre. Choose the High version instead only if your grass genuinely needs a 2.2–4.0-inch cut; that is a separate SKU and was out of stock when checked.
Standout details
- Coverage: 1.25 acres (5,000 m²), versus 0.75 acre for the 3000 and 0.37 acre for the 1500.
- Zones: 50 maximum on Mammotion’s model comparison, versus 30 on the 3000 and 15 on the 1500.
- Navigation: 360° LiDAR, NetRTK, and dual-camera AI vision. The series page claims ±0.4-inch positioning, a 360° × 59° LiDAR field of view, up to 70 m detection range, and 200,000 cloud points per second.
- Drive: All-wheel drive with a published maximum in-area slope of 80% (38.6°).
- Cut: 15.7-inch (400 mm) dual-disc system with two 165W cutting motors. This Standard SKU adjusts from 1.0 to 2.7 inches.
- Build: The US page lists 41 lb, IPX6 water resistance, and noise of no more than 70 dB for the series.
- Access: Mammotion says the mower can pass through gaps as narrow as 27.6 inches.
- Connectivity: Built-in 4G includes three years of data; continued 4G use then requires a subscription. Mammotion separately describes iNavi service as free for the product lifecycle.
- RTK hardware: The US box list includes an RTK reference station for larger models, although Mammotion says the 5000 can use NetRTK without installing it.

Honest verdict
If you have close to an acre of complicated, hilly turf, the 5000 is the logical LUBA 3: it raises coverage to 1.25 acres and zone capacity to 50 without giving up LiDAR, NetRTK, or AWD. If your yard fits within 0.75 acre, the 3000 offers the same core navigation concept for substantially less. Also treat 1.25 acres as the mapping limit, budget for 4G after year three, and remember that this Standard model cannot cut above 2.7 inches.
