What it is
Worx Landroid S WR165 is a boundary-wire robot mower for lawns up to ⅛ acre. It is not the Vision Cloud line: no cameras, no RTK Cloud, no virtual map. A buried (or pegged) loop defines the work area. Worx’s AIA turning is for narrow passages inside that loop.
The US product identity on the official page is Landroid S – 1/8 Acre (page title “Landroid S 20V Robotic Lawn Mower (1/8 Acre)”, configurable option WR165 - Landroid S - 1/8 Acre, SEO slug, meta “Mow up to 1/8 acre”, catalog name, and main gallery asset named “Landroid S 1/8 Acre Main Image”). Official Display/Offer on 6 Sep 2026 was $999.99 for this SKU; inventory was Unavailable (qty 0).
Who it’s for
Flat-to-moderate suburban lawns around an eighth acre where the owner will install perimeter wire (or pay someone to) and already owns, or wants, Worx 20V PowerShare tools. Official maximum slope on this SKU’s INFO_SPECS block is 30%. Wrong machine if you will not bury wire, if the grass is over an eighth acre once you measure, if you wanted the quarter-acre WR147 or half-acre WR155, or if you wanted wire-free Vision Cloud WR310.
Standout details
- Price: $999.99 Display and Offer on the official Worx US catalog for partNumber WR165 on 6 Sep 2026 (productPrice list=offer=999.99). Out of stock online (inventoryStatus Unavailable, availableQuantity 0). The PDP is a configurable S/M/L page (WR165 1/8 acre, WR147 1/4 acre, WR155 1/2 acre). Parent min $999.99 is this SKU; do not use WR147 ($1,199.99) or WR155 ($1,499.99) prices for this listing.
- Coverage: 1/8 acre from the WR165 product name, page title, meta description (“Mow up to 1/8 acre”), CONFIGURABLE_OPTION (“WR165 - Landroid S - 1/8 Acre”), and main image name “Landroid S 1/8 Acre Main Image”. The shared INFO_SPECS row still says “Recommended lawn size|1/2 Acre” on WR165 — that is CMS contamination from the L SKU; do not use it for this listing. Key-feature copy that claims “up to ½ acre” is the same contamination.
- Navigation: Physical boundary wire. AIA for narrow paths; Cut-to-Edge; app multi-zone. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi; LCD plus Landroid app; OTA (and USB) updates.
- Slope / terrain: Maximum slope 30% on the WR165 INFO_SPECS block. Self-leveling / floating blade disc. Rain sensor.
- Cut: Cutting width 18 cm and cutting height 30 mm / 60 mm, manual, 3 blades (WR165 INFO_SPECS; metric template on this SKU).
- Battery: What’s-included and key-feature copy for WR165 list a 2.0 Ah PowerShare pack WA3669. INFO_SPECS “Battery Capacity|2 Ah” matches those lines on this SKU (unlike the M sibling’s Ah conflicts).
- Build: Spec-table noise 59 dB. Hose-washable underside. No IP rating published on the page. Weight omitted — WR165 attributes disagree (INFO_SPECS 13.5 kg without battery vs WEIGHT 21.16).
- In the box (WR165 attribute identifiers): Charging station (WA0464), 2.0 Ah battery (WA3669), boundary wire + pegs, wire connectors, base screws, blades/screws, hex key. The first what’s-included line incorrectly says “Landroid L 1/2 Acre” and the wire/peg counts on the PDP match the L kit (820 ft / 340 pegs) — CMS contamination from the sibling SKU; do not treat those wire/peg figures as WR165-specific from the PDP alone.

Honest verdict
This is the wire-era Landroid sized for a measured eighth-acre: PowerShare 2.0 Ah battery, perimeter wire in the install, no RTK pole and no cameras. The catch is the install and the limits on the page — 30% slope, 18 cm of blade, manual height, and you have to bury that loop. If you want a quarter acre, that is WR147 (already listed); half acre is WR155 (already listed); wire-free vision is WR310 (already listed), not this SKU.
