What it is
The MOVA LiDAX Pro 800 is the compact 0.2-acre model in MOVA’s US LiDAX lineup. MOVA’s launch release puts it at 800 m², launched alongside the Ultra 2000 AWD. This listing is locked to US variant 47666572099820, SKU 010901AA000250, titled MOVA Lidax Pro 800 Robotic Lawn Mower | 0.2 Acre. The product has only that one variant. It is not the LiDAX Ultra 1000 (0.25 acre), not the Ultra 2000, and not an Ultra AWD model.
Navigation is UltraView™ 2.0. The official US spec table lists 360° 3D LiDAR + AI Vision for positioning and obstacle avoidance, with remote-control + AI-assisted auto mapping. It needs no boundary wire and no RTK station. Drive is off-road rear-wheel drive. The official US spec table (LiDAX Pro 800 column) lists:
- Max mapping area: 0.2 acre
- Dimensions: 26.2” × 17.5” × 10.7”
- Weight: 28.6 lbs

- Cutting height: 1.2”–3.9”
- Edge retention (grass distance): < 4.3”
- Max climbing: 45% (24°)
- Vertical passing: ≤1.6”
- Battery: 4 Ah

Who it’s for
This fits a front or back lawn of roughly a fifth of an acre or less, with gentle slopes that stay within the published 45%. It suits you if you want a LiDAR install you can power on and auto-map, without siting an RTK antenna. Dual maps and multi-zone control (up to 150 managed zones, per the PDP) cover a split front/back yard with one mower. The app also handles no-go zones and channels between zones.
Skip it if the lawn is bigger than 0.2 acre, has slopes steeper than 45%, or has long borders you don’t want to trim by hand. On MOVA’s spec tables, the Pro 800 leaves grass within 4.3” of the edge, while the Ultra 1000 leaves under 2”. Also skip it if you expect built-in 4G tracking: the Link Module is an optional accessory for this model.

- Navigation / mapping: UltraView™ 2.0 pairs 360° 3D LiDAR with AI vision. It needs no RTK station and no boundary wire. The PDP cites a 230 ft LiDAR detection range, a 1080p HDR RGB camera, and cm-level navigation. Night mowing Y.
- Obstacles: 3D point cloud + AI vision. Marketing claims 300+ obstacle types, including humans, pets, and small animals. Animal-friendly low-speed mode, animal activity zones, and do-not-disturb mode are listed.

Page conflicts (the spec table is used here):
- A bullet near the buy box says the cutting height is 1.2–4”; the table and the feature section say 1.2”–3.9”.
- The marketing copy promises “On-Boundary Mowing” that “gets right up to the edges”. The table lists an edge grass distance of < 4.3”.
- The table’s “3D Map” row reads “2D & 2D”.
- The under 57 dB noise claim and parts of the buy-box copy refer to the “LiDAX Ultra Series”, and noise is not in the spec table, so noise is omitted here.
- The page’s featured image shows an Ultra-badged body. The spec-table thumbnail shows the “LiDAX Pro” body.
- The page offers “Up to 3 Years Warranty”, but the badge says some models and parts may not qualify, so no warranty term is listed for this model.

Honest verdict
The Pro 800 at $899 ($1,099 compare-at, 16 Oct 2026) fits a yard of up to 0.2 acre with gentle slopes, if you want LiDAR + vision mapping with no wire or RTK hardware. On MOVA’s own spec tables, it shares the Ultra 1000’s dimensions, 7.9” cut, 45% RWD climb, 4 Ah battery and 60–80 min runtime. The Pro 800 is 1.6 lbs lighter, but it’s rated for less area (0.2 vs 0.25 acre) and leaves a wider uncut edge (< 4.3” vs < 2”). On 26 Sep 2026 the Ultra 1000 was $100 cheaper in MOVA’s US cart; on 16 Oct 2026 it was $100 more ($999 vs $899). Check both carts before buying, because MOVA’s sale prices move often.
