What it is

Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD is a residential, all-wheel-drive robot mower for lawns up to 0.9 acre (±20%). The US SKU is 967 85 33-05. Husqvarna lists the boundary type as physical wire. This is not the 435 iQ AWD: no EPOS virtual mapping, no satellite boundary. A buried (or pegged) perimeter loop defines the work area.

The box includes the mower, charging station, power supply, 33 ft low-voltage cable, and 6 extra blades. Loop wire and stakes are not included. US dealer carts were about $2,999.99 on 27 Aug 2026; husqvarna.com does not publish a list price.

Who it’s for

Yards that are medium in area and awkward in terrain — slopes, obstacles, a pivoting AWD chassis — and where the owner will install perimeter wire (or pay for a professional install). Official slope is 70% inside the work area and 50% at the boundary wire. It is the wrong machine if you will not bury wire, or if the grass is actually over about an acre once you measure.

Honest verdict

This is the wire-era Automower for a hilly ~0.9-acre lawn: AWD, 70% in-lawn slope, no rooftop RTK mast. The catch is the install — physical wire is required, and the kit in the box does not include that wire or the stakes. IPX4 is weather protection, not a hose-down rating, and 8.7 in of blade is a small deck for almost an acre. If you want virtual boundaries, that is a different SKU (435 iQ AWD).
