What it is
The GOAT O1000 RTK is ECOVACS’ entry-price wire-free mower in the US and the RTK sibling of the listed ecovacs-goat-o1000-lidar-pro. It positions itself with RTK satellite navigation from an included reference station. ECOVACS calls the setup LiDAR-enhanced RTK (LELS). The US spec table lists navigation as RTK + Camera + 3D ToF and obstacle avoidance as 3D ToF + Camera (AIVI 3D), so there is no rotating LiDAR on this model.
How it’s sold: In the US store, the purchasable version is the O1000 RTK Care Kit (SKU GO1000RK). It is the full mower kit plus a spare blade kit of 45 blades and 45 screws. The mower-only page (SKU GO-1000R) shows the same $999.99 price but was out of stock on 10 Oct 2026. Both pages carry the same UPC (850066858103).
Setup: No perimeter wire. You do need to install the RTK reference station on its mounting pole, with a 10 m power cable. ECOVACS says setup takes about 5 minutes with automatic mapping, and that no signal beacons are needed.
In the box (US spec table): the O1000 RTK with 3 blades; charging station with a 5 m power cable and 6 fastening nails; power supply; RTK reference station with a 10 m power cable, 2 mounting poles, fastening base, and 8 cable nails; a spare blade kit (9 blades and 9 screws); Allen key; pre-start guide and manual. The Care Kit adds the separate 45-blade spare kit.
Who it’s for
Owners of small suburban lawns, up to about 0.25 acre, who want wire-free mowing for under $1,000 and can put an RTK antenna somewhere with a clear view of the sky. ECOVACS claims 0.8 in precision from up to 45 satellites and says the system keeps working under trees. Even so, a lawn surrounded by tall buildings or heavy canopy will suit the antenna-free ecovacs-goat-o1000-lidar-pro better. Look elsewhere if the lawn is larger than 1/4 acre, if your boundary runs along a bank steeper than 17%, or if you want an electric cutting-height adjustment or a built-in edge trimmer.
Standout details
- Coverage: The product copy says it mows “up to 1/4 acre,” and the mower-only product title says “1/4 Acre.” The mower-only page’s short description says “up to 8,600 sq ft,” which is about 0.2 acre. This listing uses ECOVACS’ 1/4-acre headline figure. Mowing efficiency is about 1,507 ft²/h in Delicate mode and 1,938 ft²/h in Efficient mode.
- Navigation: RTK + camera + 3D ToF. Obstacle avoidance (AIVI 3D) works day and night, according to ECOVACS, and is designed to avoid pets and small animals such as hedgehogs.
- Slope and terrain: Maximum work-area slope is 45% (24°), and tan 24° × 100 = 44.5%, which matches. Maximum virtual-boundary slope is 17%. Narrow passages can be as tight as 2.3 ft. ECOVACS does not publish a drive type for this model.
- Cut: 8.66 in cutting width and a 1.2–3.2 in cutting height. The spec table marks electric height adjustment as “N,” and the mower has a height dial on top. The cutting motor runs at 2,250 rpm. ECOVACS markets TruEdge edge-to-edge cutting, but there is no string trimmer on this model.
- Power: 18 V lithium-ion, 4,000 mAh. About 65 min of mowing per charge and about 100 min of charging time.
- Build: 24.25 lb mower, IPX6 for the mower, charging station, and RTK station. Noise emission is 57 dB(A). The mower measures 23.62 × 15.75 × 10.35 in.
Manual caveat: The instruction manual linked from the US page covers the GOAT O800 RTK and O1200 RTK (800 m² and 1,200 m², 4 Ah and 5.2 Ah). It is not a US O1000 manual, so this listing takes its specs from the US spec table and product copy only.

Honest verdict
For a quarter-acre lawn with open sky, this is the cheapest way into ECOVACS’ wire-free lineup. At $999.99 you get RTK positioning, 3D obstacle avoidance, a 45% work-area slope rating, and a pile of spare blades. The published limits are a 1/4-acre rating (or 8,600 sq ft by one ECOVACS figure), a 17% virtual-boundary slope, an 8.66 in cut, and about 65 minutes of run time. Its sibling the ecovacs-goat-o1000-lidar-pro costs $1,499.99 for the same 1/4-acre and 45% ratings. That $500 buys dual LiDAR with no antenna, a TruEdge string trimmer, electric height adjustment, and 90 minutes per charge. Against other RTK + vision quarter-acre mowers, the listed roborock-rockneo-q1 had a $1,299 US list price, and the listed segway-navimow-i210-awd was $1,049 in Navimow’s US cart on 10 Oct 2026 with all-wheel drive. The O1000 RTK wins on price. It gives up a published drive type and run time.
